Leadership
Magic Bus sees leadership as a quality of a person to achieve and accomplish one’s own goals and motivate others to do so. Self-efficacy plays a major role in how goals, tasks, and challenges are approached. "People with high assurance in their capabilities approach difficult tasks as challenges to be mastered rather than as threats to be avoided."
- In Magic Bus a young person goes through an exploratory journey of self and its extension to family and society, which enhances their ‘Self-efficacy’. We provide a young person with positive experiences through Sport, Events, Exposures and outbound activities which enhances their ‘Self-esteem’.
- Magic Bus participated in an international research involving 10 organizations from 6 countries across India and Africa to evaluate the effectiveness of sports to engage and bring positive changes in children and youth. One of the major findings from the Magic Bus data was that Peer Leader had higher Self-esteem and Self-efficacy from Voyagers. The average post test scores of Peer leaders on Self-efficacy were 21.59 as compared to 19.96 of the Voyagers, the average post test scores with regard to Self-esteem were Peer Leader 20.62 and Voyagers 18.78.
