  • Championing new ways of working by piloting and supporting technology innovation

  • Ensuring and implementing strong Service Level Agreements are in place for all outsourced providers

  • Working with Organisation's Strategy Development team in developing Technology strategy that supports Organizational Strategy and Mission.

  • Owns the Technology Roadmap guiding the continuing evolution of how technology is deployed and used.

  • Owns project and programme delivery of all applications including guiding team members and internal customers in executing software engineering principles

  • Strong project management skills

  • Sets the overall Technology standards and ensure that all development, whether shared service or country based contributes to a coherent and effective overall solution to support the new strategy.

  • Is up-to-date on, and contributes to, the body of knowledge relating to the best use of Technology within the development sector.

  • Represents Technology within internal fora and external forums

  • Ensure realistic plans are developed for systems development that fit within the overall Technology roadmap.

  • Accountable for the availability, stability and resilience of all shared systems.

  • Manage service providers performance through monitoring and adhering to Service Level Agreements

  • Review Service Level Agreements on a regular basis with all Stakeholders. People Management

  • Conducting probationary reviews with staff and annual performance reviews (performance management)to support staff development.

  • Provide strategic direction to team members

  • Raises the capacity of our Technology staff across the organisation to support the increasing support demands from our users.

  • Monitors the team’s performance against the agreed organizational standards and ensure that problems are identified and resolved.

  • Supports both the professional and personal development of the staff ensuring they are able to be proactive on all matters thus maximizing and integrating the effectiveness of the service they provide to fulfill organisation goals and plans.

Project Management - to be able to manage multiple projects single-handedly, with an emphasis on delivery quality within agreed timelines and without exceeding budgets

  • Planning programs based on the Outdoor curriculum

  • Effective implementation and disseminating the MB vision on the field

  • To take full ownership and responsibility of the programme and its delivery

Specific responsibilities

1. Design Programmes:

  • To design new programmes

  • Understanding client needs from BD and offering suitable programme proposal

  • Contributing in creation different service projects

  • Contributing in international interventions for students/corporate from abroad

  • To be responsible for learning new skills and gathering information relevant to improving self and programme performance.

2. Facilitate programmes:

  • To facilitate/support programmes with highest level of engagement and understanding when required

  • Support centre programme team whenever required

  • Support on both the areas of programme i.e. processing and technical

  • Inputs on improving programme operating and maintenance systems

  • To receive and collate feedback and report to line manager

  • To attend meetings, trainings and reviews as needed

  • Conducting programme, activity and safety standards in relation to national and international guidelines

3. To Manage and support programme team

  • Manage and report pre, post and off programme duties

  • To help team for making the activities more efficient, healthy and varied

  • To help team for building capacity in various theories, methodologies and practices

  • Making and delivering training modules for in-house trainings

  • To help them with various programme designs

  • Attending and contributing the proceeding of Monthly Programme Team Meeting and Monthly Training Day.

4. To support the business development team

  • Attending meetings and centre visits for clients to provide them with better product knowledge

  • Maintaining high level of engagement with all existing clients and good interpersonal relationship with all groups

  • Creating designs for clients as per their needs

  • Drafting and compiling programme designs and other material prepared by Programme Team in coordination with line manager.

  • Responsible for payroll processing through a payroll vendor for 1000+ employees

  • Stat compliances like PF, ESIC, Gratuity, LWF, Shops and Establishment, PT etc

  • Oversee processing of payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises)

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies

  • Liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits

  • Collaborate with Human Resources (HR) and accounting teams

  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports

  • Reconcile the payroll-related general ledger month on month (variance report)

We need to address India’s declining female workforce. For the first time in India we wish to establish a residential institution that focuses on providing livelihood enhancement to girls from economically challenging environments. “The Girls Academy” (yet to be named) will provide upto 300 graduates a year with ”entry level plus one” careers. To achieve this ambitious vision, the organisation is looking for a creative and entrepreneurial leader to take the lead to articulate and execute the ambition of the academy and define a business strategy and an operating model to build a self- sustaining social enterprise. The Dean will provide academic, intellectual, and administrative leadership to the Magic Bus Girls Academy. The position is for a 01-year Contract. We anticipate the project will take 06-12 months to initiate & roll out successfully, post this, and as an iterative process, the position will be renewed YOY basis performance and achievement of milestones. The position will be based out of both the Head Office of Magic Bus India Foundation at Vikhroli West, Mumbai, and Magic Bus Girls Academy at Karjat.
  • Lead programme design and development activities to plan, research, roll out and evaluate the right programmes for girls

  • Promote excellence in all aspects of the teaching, research, and placement model of the academy.

  • Imagine, articulate and implement a vision for the academy; advocate for and drive strategies aimed at achieving the Academy’s mission and vision.

  • Collaborate with corporations and institutions to secure content, training and financial support

  • Build Team with the right talent required to execute the programme

  • Define the qualification & quality standards for all aspects of the project like Marketing & Mobilization, Enrolment, Programme, Youth development, Assessment & Certification, Placement and Post-placement tracking, etc.

  • Create packages for the student sponsorship and fixed asset investments

  • Curate all programmatic requirements from academic, livelihood institutions and corporate partners.

  • Build and manage relationships with first-mile (Funders/Sponsors), mid-mile (Knowledge Partners), and last-mile (Employers) partners

  • Design and develop a robust Impact evaluation model for the programmes for impact study & continuous improvement

  • Define ways and standards for welfare of Youth

  • Own complete responsibility of the sustainability of the Academy with special focus on Outreach, Optimum Assets & Resources utilisation, and effective financial management.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of the Skilling ecosystem in India (public and private sponsored)

  • Labor market information including industrial clusters, prevailing wages, work hours, skill requirements, and employment possibilities

  • Various learning & training models, methodologies, tools and techniques like CBT, WBT, E-learning, ILT and Blended learning models for better modeling of programmes

  • Various Youth profiling & Assessment tools for screening and formative & summative assessments

  • Understanding of the challenges facing Youth from low-socio economic background in India

  • An understanding of the business economy and what drives corporate behavior

  • Understanding of running a sustainable enterprise

Skills

  • Basic Enterprise running skills like marketing & sales, Finance management, Assets & Resources onboarding & management, Market scan, CRM,etc.

  • Experience working in one or more of the following areas an asset: business skills training, business incubation hubs, business development services, entrepreneurship, etc.

  • Directly play the role of account manager of multiple large projects and create and nurture a lasting relationship

  • Play vital role in fund allocation and take major financial as well as programmatic decisions and reporting with respect to the grant

  • Oversee the progress of implementation of the programme as per the MoU with the respective donor

  • Self-sustaining practices for retention of existing donors and growing grant/donation sizes

  • Create implementation as well as expansion plans to multiple cities

  • Create a Sustainable network of key stakeholders in donors and make a pitch

  • Negotiating and managing the Financials, Donations and Timelines with Donors

  • Share expertise via training and awareness sessions

  • Create and grow Brand Magic Bus campaigns, advertisements

  • 12 - 15 years of experience in managing key accounts & partnerships

  • Experience in overseeing clients and programmes that are of big financial value as well as the spread of geography

  • Ability to drive complex projects in a timely manner

  • Knowledge of CRM implementation and sustenance

  • Have strong networking skills and relationship building

  • Have impeccable integrity and high personal ethics

  • Experience in B2B sales would be preferred
