This role requires the person to plan and lead Industry Connect Initiatives, existing & new, for all programme models in Magic Bus w.r.t. Labour market information system, the creation of employer focused courses & programmes, placement of trainees and employer relationship management.
  • Plan and lead effective & efficient management of Magic Bus-Prince's Trust International’s ‘Get Into’ modelled programmes across India ensuring targeted enrollments, customised Employer-focused curriculum, training quality, final job placements, and job retention tracking

This role requires the person to plan and lead the Entrepreneurship Development Programme of Magic Bus which includes activities like rural livelihood & MSME development, financial inclusion, strategic planning, effective implementation with programme management, empanelment and strengthening of local market linkages, networking & policy advocacy with major stakeholders, convergence with government line departments, documenting best practices, planning & strengthening of programme governance, and institution-building for the aspiring rural-entrepreneurs from the marginalised & disadvantaged background.
  • Lead the design and planning of entrepreneurship & MSME development, and support components of the programme

  • Manage the implementation of entrepreneurship and MSME development components of the programme

  • Lead the design of the overall programme in multiple models which will enable the objective of identification & creation of MSME entrepreneurs, mainly rural, both in association with knowledge partners as well as through in-house expertise

The role requires the person to conceptualize and implement a monitoring and evaluation system to maintain efficiency and effectiveness across Magic Bus programmes. The role also requires the person to conceptualise, train and supervise to deliver high productivity and quality data in time; providing inputs, compilation and documentation of learning and development in the programme; coordinate and support State teams by resolving issues pertaining to technical and functional aspects of MIS, and ensuring timely and quality data being entered in the MIS system.
  • Coordination in developing strategies, LFA, timeline, budget, M&E plans capacity building plans, MIS and monitoring of the projects/programmes across different zones

  • Coordination in designing, provision of technical inputs in the conduction of baseline, midline, end-line evaluations as well as monitoring tools and strategies for project implementation

  • Work closely with programme team for collation of data from different types of sources/surveys i.e. baseline/midline/end-line, outcome monitoring, etc. and integrate with the organisation’s MIS

  • Check the quality of all data for completeness, consistency, and correctness and make amendments as required

  • Deliver high-quality data in presentable mode by developing and running validation checks, integrity checks, resolving data discrepancies

This role requires the person to build strong relationships with employers, training partners and education institutions ensuring effective referral, placement, and monitoring systems are in place for the young people. The person should support young people during their self-development and skills training ensuring trainees are placed and placements are successful.
  • Support young people to achieve the skills training, mentoring and employer activities outlined in their individual Personal Development Plans

  • Engage and motivate young people positively at all times ensuring they are aware of their weekly timetables and attend the correct sessions

  • Deliver a sharp focus on achieving successful youth placements in work, training or further education and supporting these young people to sustain the jobs for 6 months

  • Create partnerships with employers who can offer potential job placements, work experience, and workplace visit opportunities to the young people

  • Broker partnerships with external training organisations and colleges that will enable young peoplem12 to achieve their desired job or education outcome

Department: Finance

The person must be a Chartered Accountant (inter/final) and will be part of the Core team of three who will work with the CFO to ensure the following:
  • Understand the financial needs of the organisation and work with the management (Programme & Administration) team to draw a realistic budget based on the cost centres.

  • Prepare budgets, variance analysis and monitor the budgets to ensure that the budgets are in line with the organisational strategy and plans

  • Funds Planning.

  • Project the cash flows.

  • Liaison with the banks and supervise the account activities

  • Monitor and control cost

  • Provide inputs on financials for all the funding proposals and report to the funding partners

  • Review and coordinate for funders budgets and report of actuals against budgets.

  • Arrange exposures/workshops and other activities to help trainers to keep abreast of the current trends in content and training methodologies

  • Deliver training using innovative methods including activity-based learning, role plays, experiential learning and sports for development techniques and consistently evaluate the quality and impact of training

  • Deliver at least 7 Days of Training per month with the youth at the Livelihood Centres

  • Develop content for youth training including activities, energizers and sessions

  • Conduct Training Needs Assessment on a regular basis

  • Coordinate and give inputs to the content team in revising and refining youth curriculum as and when required
