Padakandla is a slum cluster in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The total population of this slum cluster stands at 1435 persons. There are 324 households. Most of them are cement-and-brick structures or what is known as pucca buildings. Residents primarily belong to a single social group – Boya, enlisted as a Backward Class (BC) in Andhra Pradesh. Telugu is the main spoken language.
95 percent of the households lie below the poverty line. Daily wage work is the only source of livelihood in Padakandla slum cluster. There are no primary health centres nearby. A hospital is located 2kms away from the community. A government school and college are located at a distance of 1 km from the community.
Magic Bus began working in this community since 2014. Helping the community to maintain cleanliness was the first major challenge. In the absence of their parents, children were taught to take care of their regular hygiene.
At present, we have 80 children on our programme here.

Sessions are held twice every week on Sundays between 4.30 and 6.00pm and 4.00 and 5.00pm and on Monday between 4.00 and 5.00pm.
Magic Bus Sessions here are divided into three broad parts:
