Magic Bus' work in this community is made possible with the support of our donor, Paul Thomas.

Thammarajupalli in rural Panyam of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, is home to a population of 2,154 persons. Mostly belonging to the Boya community, people living here speak the Telugu language. A large number of households in this community fall below the poverty line. Agriculture and daily wage work at quarries are the major livelihood options for residents.
When Magic Bus began working in this community in 2011, there were no open spaces for children to come together and play. With the help of the community, we got a space within the community where children could get together, play, and learn. Apart from helping build such a safe and interactive space for children, the thrust of our work here has been towards ensuring that children are not forced into mining work.
There are 60 children on our programme here. All of them go to school.
