Pooja Mane, from Borgaon Khurd village, dreamed of becoming a police officer. Supported by Magic Bus's UDDAN project, which offered life skills, study resources, and scholarships. She ultimately secured her place in the police force. Despite financial obstacles, she completed her exams and rigorous police training, joining as a Female Police Officer at Karjat Railway Police Station.
Nikita from Babhulgaon nearly became a victim of child marriage but found strength through Magic Bus’s Project Disha. Life skills sessions and support from a facilitator empowered her to resist societal pressures and pursue her dreams in civil engineering. She secured a place in Nagpur’s Government Polytechnic College and now inspires others in her village.
Magic Bus India Foundation bridges the gap between skills and employment, especially for women, by focusing on life and employability skills for sustainable jobs. Reaching marginalised youth, Magic Bus empowers them to secure dignified work, skilling and placing over one lakh youth annually.
Magic Bus supports youth aged 21 to 25 years who come from families with an annual income of less than INR 250,000 and are classified as NEET, meaning they are not currently engaged in education, employment, or training.
Magic Bus places youth in sectors such as Retail & E-Commerce, IT and IT-enabled Services, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), as well as Logistics.
