Empowering youth for future readiness.
Livelihood Livelihood

Livelihood Programme

With 52% of India’s population under the age of 30[1], India is set to have the largest workforce by 2027. Unfortunately, the rate of unemployment remains high, particularly among youth from underserved communities. The biggest obstacle is not the unavailability of jobs but the lack of basic employability skills even among educated youth. We must equip youth with skills that will enhance their employability and enable them to adapt to the ever-evolving job market.

"Individuals with combination of Skills, viz- broad-based education and training, basic and portable high-level skills, including teamwork, problem solving, information and communications technology (ICT) and communication and language skills are most employable and adaptable to changes in the world of work."
