Passionate about enabling access to education and advancing youth empowerment, particularly in South Asia, Tijana has dedicated her career to organisations that drive long-term, systemic change
Before joining Magic Bus UK, Tijana served as Director of Philanthropy at Pratham UK. She previously held roles at Sense International, SOS Children’s Villages International and Variety, the Children’s Charity, specialising in high-value giving. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with individual donors, philanthropic foundations, corporate partners, and high-profile boards, to create opportunities for young people to thrive. At Magic Bus UK, she is focused on strengthening the organisation’s presence in the UK, expanding its philanthropic partnerships and securing sustainable support for Magic Bus’s work across India.

Caroline is Executive Director of Magic Bus UK. Her previous career in philanthropy has spanned roles at the University of Cambridge, London Business School, Prostate Cancer UK and London’s Air Ambulance Charity.
SARAH CURRID
Executive Director – Magic Bus USA
Sarah Currid is a purpose driven leader with a passion for collaboration and creating sustainable change. She joins Magic Bus USA as the Executive Director with more than 10 years experience in the social impact space working most recently at Discovery Education where she led a team that was responsible for creating partnerships addressing education inequity, workforce development, and youth achievement.
Throughout Sarah’s career, she has worked in leadership and development roles for organizations that focus on empowering youth and young adults. More specifically she has worked at global nonprofits focused on education and the power of entrepreneurship including Enactus, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), and Samaschool.
Sarah holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in French and Art from The College of New Jersey. She also holds a Certificate in Global Philanthropy from New York University and is a board member of JUSTGen, an initiative of JUST Capital.
Purnima Kamath

Purnima has a track record of twenty-five years of experience in marketing, sales, media, e-commerce, integrated communications, and event management in the Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Magic Bus, she has founded De Ideaz, a pioneer event management company in Singapore. She has won awards for her entrepreneurship skills and has shown tremendous drive and passion with a growth mindset in her previous works.
Sakaya Johns Rani
Rani is a seasoned corporate leader with over 25 years of experience and expertise in strategic leadership, business transformation and governance. Rani is honored to have been part of PwC's global responsible leadership program - Ulyssess and have led many Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion initiatives. For Magic Bus Singapore, Rani volunteers her leadership support on strategic priorities, creating relevance and positive impact for Magic Bus in SEA and aligning the purpose in poverty eradication via job creation and entrepreneurship programs.
Shweta Vaidya
Shweta brings 18 years of corporate experience, most of it with DuPont, where she focused on customer engagement, stakeholder management, and building trusted relationships across global teams. Her strength lies in creating connections that drive lasting value and collaboration.
Since her days at DuPont, Shweta has been an advocate for girl child education, supporting initiatives that promote equal opportunities for girls to learn and thrive.
At Magic Bus Singapore, she volunteers her time to strengthen donor engagement, streamline CRM and data systems, and support the broader vision of empowering young people with the skills and opportunities to break the cycle of poverty.
