Marc Nicholson
Chief Executive Officer – Magic Bus USA
Marc Nicholson is the CEO of Magic Bus USA, where he leads the organization's work across the United States. Magic Bus helps millions of young people in India move from childhood to livelihood by equipping them with the education, life skills and confidence to build meaningful careers.
Before joining Magic Bus, Marc spent a decade founding and building 1880, the acclaimed private members' club in Singapore, which became one of Asia's most influential communities, bringing together entrepreneurs, investors, creatives, policymakers and changemakers through hundreds of conversations and events exploring the ideas shaping our world.
Originally from Montreal, Marc holds degrees in International Relations, International Law, and Social Justice and Human Rights, and an MBA from London Business School. His career has spanned international development, entrepreneurship and social impact, including work in Indonesia and Cyprus, before spending twenty-five years building businesses and communities in Singapore.
Marc believes that the most transformative ideas emerge when people from different worlds come together with curiosity, generosity and a shared sense of purpose.
Tijana Milosevic
Tijana Milosevic is the Executive Director of Magic Bus UK, bringing almost two decades of experience across the corporate and non-profit sectors, with expertise spanning fundraising leadership, organisational strategy, donor engagement and building high-performing teams. Passionate about enabling access to education and advancing youth empowerment, particularly in South Asia, Tijana has dedicated her career to organisations that drive long-term, systemic change
Before joining Magic Bus UK, Tijana served as Director of Philanthropy at Pratham UK. She previously held roles at Sense International, SOS Children’s Villages International and Variety, the Children’s Charity, specialising in high-value giving. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with individual donors, philanthropic foundations, corporate partners, and high-profile boards, to create opportunities for young people to thrive. At Magic Bus UK, she is focused on strengthening the organisation’s presence in the UK, expanding its philanthropic partnerships and securing sustainable support for Magic Bus’s work across India.
Caroline Gellatly
Executive Director – Magic Bus UK
Caroline is Executive Director of Magic Bus UK. Her previous career in philanthropy has spanned roles at the University of Cambridge, London Business School, Prostate Cancer UK and London’s Air Ambulance Charity.
SARAH CURRID
Executive Director – Magic Bus USA
Sarah Currid is a purpose driven leader with a passion for collaboration and creating sustainable change. She joins Magic Bus USA as the Executive Director with more than 10 years experience in the social impact space working most recently at Discovery Education where she led a team that was responsible for creating partnerships addressing education inequity, workforce development, and youth achievement.
Throughout Sarah’s career, she has worked in leadership and development roles for organizations that focus on empowering youth and young adults. More specifically she has worked at global nonprofits focused on education and the power of entrepreneurship including Enactus, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), and Samaschool.
Sarah holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in French and Art from The College of New Jersey. She also holds a Certificate in Global Philanthropy from New York University and is a board member of JUSTGen, an initiative of JUST Capital.
Purnima Kamath
Head Partnerships & Fund Raising - Singapore
Purnima has a track record of twenty-five years of experience in marketing, sales, media, e-commerce, integrated communications, and event management in the Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Magic Bus, she has founded De Ideaz, a pioneer event management company in Singapore. She has won awards for her entrepreneurship skills and has shown tremendous drive and passion with a growth mindset in her previous works.
Sakaya Johns Rani
Rani is a seasoned corporate leader with over 25 years of experience and expertise in strategic leadership, business transformation and governance. Rani is honored to have been part of PwC's global responsible leadership program - Ulyssess and have led many Corporate Responsibility and Inclusion initiatives. For Magic Bus Singapore, Rani volunteers her leadership support on strategic priorities, creating relevance and positive impact for Magic Bus in SEA and aligning the purpose in poverty eradication via job creation and entrepreneurship programs.
Shubhra Jyotsna Sarma
Executive Director – Magic Bus Limited
Shubhra brings 15+ years of non-profit leadership across fundraising, partnerships, programmes, and advocacy in India and Singapore. Most recently, she led Fundraising & Partnerships at the Breast Cancer Foundation, Singapore, driving multi-channel campaigns and flagship events, while concurrently heading Programmes & Services for the organisation. Earlier, she built strategic partnerships at United Women Singapore and contributed to education advocacy and marketing communications at the Azim Premji Foundation, India. Shubhra's career began in brand communications with leading advertising agencies in India, including work on the country's first national AIDS awareness campaign — an early grounding in using storytelling for social impact that continues to shape her approach today.
A committed and passionate advocate for women's empowerment, children's education, and health equity, Shubhra has also volunteered extensively with organisations supporting migrant workers, underprivileged women, and children affected by cancer. Shubhra holds a Bachelor's (Honours) in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and is certified in Philanthropy & Social Impact.

Shweta Vaidya
Shweta brings 18 years of corporate experience, most of it with DuPont, where she focused on customer engagement, stakeholder management, and building trusted relationships across global teams. Her strength lies in creating connections that drive lasting value and collaboration.
Since her days at DuPont, Shweta has been an advocate for girl child education, supporting initiatives that promote equal opportunities for girls to learn and thrive.
At Magic Bus Singapore, she volunteers her time to strengthen donor engagement, streamline CRM and data systems, and support the broader vision of empowering young people with the skills and opportunities to break the cycle of poverty.
